Make that four. We are thrilled to announce that four American Short Fiction contributors recently landed literature fellowships from the NEA. Each of these honorees will receive $25,000 fellowships—which will enable them to set aside time for writing, research, travel, and general career advancement. Congratulations to:

We were also recently informed that the NEA is awarding ASF a grant. We are absolutely giddy. The grant will help fund author payments and printing costs.

We were lucky enough to have Roy Kesey visit our college and entrance students with his fiction. The NEA got it right. Congratulations to all the recipients, but especially to Roy Kesey.
