Jill Widner’s fiction has appeared recently in Asia Literary Review (Hong Kong), Bamboo Ridge: Journal of Hawai’i Literature and Arts, CellStories, Hobart, Juked, Kartika Review, Kyoto Journal, Memoir (and), North American Review, Short Fiction, and Willesden Herald New Short Stories 3 (pretend genius press, United Kingdom). She was the recipient of a 2007 Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship and a 2009 Artist Trust (GAP) project grant; she has been awarded residencies at Yaddo and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts; and she is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She lives and teaches in Yakima, Washington, and is a fiction reader for Drunken Boat.
